Schei, 40, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at her home in Rochester.Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 27, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens at a later date.Heidi Ann Schei was born on July 5, 1977, in Rochester to Alfred and Justine (Miller) Schei. She graduated from Mayo High School in 1995 and Rochester School of Cosmetology. Heidi worked at local salons in Rochester and most recently for Great Clips. She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping. Heidi loved her dog, Poncho.Heidi is survived by her mother, Justine Schei of Rochester; brother, Bob (Barb) Schei of Rochester; sister, Dorothy (Glenn) Heyn of Elgin; several nieces and nephews.Heidi was preceded in death by her father, Alfred; sister, Vicki Copley; and maternal and paternal grandparents.Arrangements are with Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes. Joseph Victor “Joe” Berry, 70, of Interlachen, Florida and formerly of Glens Falls, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017 following an extended illness.Joe was born in Glens Falls and had been a resident of Interlachen for the past 36 years, coming from Glens Falls.At the age of 18, he became a volunteer firefighter in West Glens Falls. Continuing firefighting in Interlachen, he became a volunteer firefighter with Station 17. The following year, he became Chief of the Station, a post he held for 14 years. For the past four years, he had served as Assistant Chief of the Station. He had been recognized as Volunteer Firefighter of the Year at Station 17 and for 40 years of service in volunteer firefighting.In his earlier years he had worked as a law enforcement officer with the town of Queensbury. He later worked as a Regional Manager for Standard T Chemical Company.Joe served honorably in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a past member and past Commander of American Legion Post No. 293 in Interlachen.Preceding him in death were his parents, Victor and Rita Berry; and a daughter, Melissa Rita Berry.Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Juanita Berry of Interlachen; a daughter, Ruth (Timothy) Bahr of Interlachen; a sister, Marianne (Bill) Ireland of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Curtis Bahr of Interlachen, Timothy (Marissa) Bahr of Hawthorne, Florida, and Jeffery Bahr of Interlachen; three great-grandchildren, Adrian McColley-Bahr, Chase Bahr and Alaina Bahr; and numerous nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 30, at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1 at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Clubb officiating.Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens with honors bestowed by the U.S. Navy, American Legion Post No. 293 of Interlachen, the Highland Society and Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.Memorial gifts may be sent to Station 17 Volunteer Fire Department, ...

She died peacefully on July 20, 2017.She was lovingly called “Granny” by not only her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but by many neighborhood friends both large and small. She was a member of Christ Church at Whitewater. She enjoyed being with people and especially had a fondness for the women’s circle meetings at church. Working as an office manager in Atlanta and returning home where she had a sewing project was a daily ritual. Martha was an accomplished seamstress. Her love for sewing brought joy to those who were lucky enough to get a doll or stuffed animal made by her. She also crocheted beautiful afghans gifting them to those she loved. She took sewing classes at every opportunity. For a while, she served as president of Fayette County Business & Professional Women and was active in several other clubs and organizations.Martha was preceded in death by her daughter, Gail Phillips, and her husband, William “Bill” Tarrant, along with six of her ten siblings.Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Corman (Wayne); son, Robert Burroughs (Diane); son-in-law, Terry Phillips (Freddie); step-son, Allen (Susan) Tarrant; grandchildren, Troy and Vance Corman, Kimberly Etheridge (Arthur), Robert Burroughs (Masha), Cory Burroughs, Trent Phillips (Krissy), Stuart Phillips (Amy), Kelley Rumsey (Mike), Kendra and Ryan Tarrant; and great-grandchildren, Chance and Cole Corman, Zachary Etheridge, Niko and Ashton Burroughs, Troy Phillips, Emma, Sam, Jenna and Kelsie Phillips, Emily, Michael and Ava Rumsey.Funeral services were at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Ga. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, Ga.
